Hey! Just because I’m Ms. Low Self Esteem USA doesn’t mean I don’t have some things I love about myself. Namely, I like how discerning I am about people. Sometimes it makes me sound like a judgmental bitch, but being able to see right through most people saves me no end of trouble and heartache and has actually made me a *less* judgmental person in some ways. Because it’s about looking past the surface shit that everyone notices and knowing what’s a tell about someone’s real self. It’s about knowing who’d come through for you in a crisis within 5 minutes of meeting them and never letting that person go. Learning to trust myself about that instinct was a really important self-discovery moment for me.
